IT Operations Lead - #32401

We are currently filling the role of a hands-on IT Operations Lead at a cutting-edge IT security company.

In this position, you will lead the internal operations and strategic development of IT infrastructure, optimizing cloud systems and hardware while ensuring the highest standards of security and compliance.

We are looking for someone who can shape a seamless digital environment, balancing technical excellence with a human-centric approach, and who brings at least three years of experience in IT operations, deep expertise in AWS, and security frameworks like ISO 27001.

| WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Take the helm in leading and managing all aspects of internal IT infrastructure operations.

• Drive the strategic development and optimization of the organizational IT landscape, covering hardware, software, and network systems.

• Oversee and administer cloud infrastructure (AWS) alongside essential collaborative SaaS platforms like Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, and Jira.

• Guarantee robust IT security, uphold data privacy standards (GDPR), and ensure compliance with information security management systems (ISMS) such as ISO 27001.

• Supervise the complete hardware lifecycle management process and deploy Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.

• Act as the principal and trusted point of contact for all internal technical support requirements, cultivating a user-centric environment.

• Assess emerging technologies and champion automation initiatives to boost operational efficiency and security.

• Continuously mold and enhance internal IT workflows and processes to underpin dynamic organizational growth.

| WHOM WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• A minimum of 3 years of professional background in IT operations, systems administration, or an equivalent role.

• Deep technical proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS) and the management of collaborative SaaS platforms, including Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, and Jira.

• Demonstrated expertise in hardware lifecycle management and the successful deployment of Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools such as Jamf or Kandji.

• Solid foundation in IT security, data privacy (GDPR), and the oversight of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) in line with ISO 27001.

• A highly proactive, solution-driven approach coupled with the capability to autonomously steer complex technical projects.

• Outstanding communication abilities, demonstrating C1-level proficiency in English and at least B2-level proficiency in German.

• Capacity to serve as a dependable point of contact for internal technical support, all while maintaining a strategic perspective on the broader IT landscape.

| REMOTE WORK POLICY

In this role, you can work hybrid remote (2 days remote) from their office in Vienna.

Should you need to relocate or travel for this role, your relocation or travel costs will, of course, be covered.
