Position Overview

You must be located in Austria to be eligible for this role. Work permit required!

Location: Vienna

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and preparing guest rooms and public areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. You will work closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor and other team members, contributing directly to the guest experience and the hotel's reputation for high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Room Cleaning & Preparation : Make beds and change linens; dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; clean and sanitize bathrooms; replenish guest amenities (towels, toiletries, water, etc.).
  • Public Area Maintenance : Maintain the cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, stairwells, and housekeeping closets; empty trash bins and recycle as needed.
  • Laundry & Linen Management : Remove and transport soiled linens to the laundry area; restock clean linens and towels.
  • Inventory & Supplies : Maintain housekeeping cart supplies, regularly restocking cleaning products, linen, and amenities to meet operational standards.
  • Guest Service : Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests — e.g., extra pillows, blankets, or toiletries — and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
  • Safety & Compliance : Follow all health and safety standards, including correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment; report any hazards or accidents.
  • Quality Assurance : Perform self-inspections, report problems, and work with the housekeeping team to maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness.
  • Team Collaboration : Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors; assist with training or mentoring new attendants if necessary.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is preferred but not required
  • Physical endurance and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as required
  • Work permit required
