Tasks

• Robot simulation for common industrial robots (KUKA, FANUC, ABB, etc.)
• Selection of suitable joining equipment for each process robot
• Distribution of joining elements in the automated production system (spot / stud welding / clinching / ...)
• Definition of peripheral components in the system (cable routes, fences, extraction systems, etc.) in coordination with planning engineers, electrical and pneumatics department
• Definition of safe robots within the digital twin
• Regular coordination with project management, the engineering team, and the construction site team, including business trips to the automotive factory (as needed)

Requirements

• Completed HTL or technical school with a focus on mechanical engineering / automation technology / mechatronics or completed apprenticeship with relevant work experience
• Knowledge of Process Simulate and DELMIA as an advantage
• Good German and English skills
• Independent, structured, and team-oriented approach to work
• Willingness to travel (appr. 10%)

Statutory salary details

For graduates of higher technical school, the gross annual salary according to the collective agreement is from € 47,544. The actual salary depends on your professional experience and qualifications and will be determined in a joint interview.
