This role will cover Region – West of Austria and is a remote role. This means your home/remote location is the primary work location. There may however be requirements to attend a Medtronic location for meetings from time to time.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Direct sales responsibilities for the west Austrian territory to achieve agreed AOP (Annual Operating Plan) targets, and increasing market share in Surgical Valve Replacement, Surgical Valves Repair, Cannulas , ECLS and Atrial Fibrillation products.

  • Building strong ethical business relationships with customers to ensure usage of our products and gain greater market share, leading through clinical selling.

  • Lead with multiple stakeholders selling activities within the territory and identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.

  • Working mainly in the Theatre environment supporting and advising Surgeons and theatre personnel.

  • Present, in-service and sell products and services to current and potential clients.

  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.

  • Collaborate with local marketing to execute on national marketing objectives

  • Use Account Planning tools to develop and execute account strategies, tactics and actions - CRM database.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Professional experience in sales or alternatively a bachelor's/master's degree in medical technology, medicine, or business administration with a particular interest in sales

  • 2-3 years’ experience in sales in Medical devices branch or similar

  • Proven ability to work effectively with sales management and customers, following sales processes

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Good knowledge of written and spoken German and English

  • Clean B driving licence
