This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group F or G, depending on educational background. What You’ll Do
- Responsible for performing professional process engineering research, development and evaluation in semiconductor environment
- Reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication and evaluation of products including in-house lab demonstrations
- Conceives and plans projects involving definition and selection of new concepts and approaches
- Works with customer and senior engineers cross functionally to understand roadmaps, process flow, inflection points, requirements and business issues/ challenges.
- Acts as customer technology manager in the planning, data collection, analysis and reporting
- Acts as single point of contact accountable for process related customer requests
- Drives introduction and evaluation of new technologies at customer sites including new tool qualifications
Who We’re Looking For
- MSc in in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics with 6+ years of Process Engineer experience in the semiconductor industry in the field of wet clean/advanced packaging or a PhD with 4+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with working in a chemical laboratory, having experience in surface preparation and analytical techniques
- In-depth understanding and experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Excellent social skills with ability to work within diverse teams
- Creative thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities, able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills in English
