Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Define the next generation of DC/DC intermediate bus converters (IBC) using market insights and system expertise; collaborate with system innovation team on schematic, magnetics, and PCB design, simulations, and BOM management, while supporting validation and optimization
• Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking
• Team up with test and quality engineers for test approval and qualification the DCDC IBC module
• Support the product (G2M) go-to-market activities, including application note, white paper, customer presentations, simulation model and training materials
• Define the firmware requirements of innovation features using digital controller and validate the features in system
• Customer interaction to support design-ins and ensure design-wins
• Solve technical issues that may arise in the design-in and/or production including the management of the Failure Analysis of parts returned by the customer
  
  

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with hands-on experience in high-frequency, high-current, high-density DC/DC designs including simulation and lab skills for the design and debug of switch mode power supplies
• 8+ years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry with exposure to engineering, design and applications
• Extensive knowledge of high power density DC/DC magnetics, simulation and power loss estimation, including magnetics design and optimization
• Solid background in using digital & analog controllers and drivers for power management
• Familiarity with safety and EMI compliance standards
• Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium or Allegro) as well as simulation tools (e.g. SPICE, PLECS or similar)
• Excellent English skills
  
  

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I (https://www.feei.at/aktuelles/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-eei/). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
