Senior Software Developer C# - Focus Simulation (M/F/D)* - #32484

Due to the increasing complexity and constantly growing product portfolio of TGW, we are looking for reinforcement for our software development teams in the area of simulation. By working on our simulation products, you will enable complex intralogistics systems to be understood, optimized, and validated as early as the concept phase—before they are even built.

You can expect to work on challenging products that require analytical thinking, technical know-how, and a love of logical challenges. Our simulation software maps the latest and most innovative solutions on our market and controls state-of-the-art mechatronic systems – from shuttles to AGVs/AMRs. This is based on sophisticated algorithms and designed processes that make our technology market-leading.

What you'll be handling:

• Product Development: You develop software that is here to stay – structure, maintainability, and expandability are its distinguishing features
• Speed matters: Implementation of new features and algorithms for warehouse execution systems using C# / .NET with a focus on maximum performance (up to 100 times real-time)
• Your input matters: Close collaboration with product owners and system specialists with regard to the design of systems and frameworks
• Innovation: Collaboration on groundbreaking R&D projects (digital twin, system development, AMRs, cloud technologies, and much more)
• Efficiency: Collaboration on increasing our development efficiency – through automation, simplification, structure, and continuous optimization of our development processes
  
  

What you'll need:

• Successfully completed IT/software engineering degree (university/technical college, HTL)
• A minimum of 8 years professional experience and very good knowledge of object-oriented software development (preferably C#/.NET) required
• Structured and analytical way of thinking
• Highly motivated and results-oriented
• Very good German and English skills
• Ability to work in a team and independently

We offer an attractive and competitive salary, based on qualifications and professional experience. The collective agreement stipulates a minimum gross annual salary of € 53.242 for a full-time position.
