Senior Project Manager (m/f/d)

Take the lead in driving complex projects in the off-highway sector to success. As a Senior Project Manager, you take full ownership of development projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and costs are managed end-to-end with a structured and goal-oriented approach.

Acting as the central interface between customers, internal teams, and international partners, you bring clarity, technical insight, and direction to challenging environments. You drive projects forward, turn complex technical challenges into tangible results, and ensure delivery at the highest standard.

Your Tasks

• Manage project scope, schedule and cost of complex projects
• Drive comprehensive and professional project planning, setup, tracking and steering
• Develop work break-down structures, effort estimations and resource plans in cooperation with the technical leads
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate international partners and suppliers
• Translate technical challenges into structured execution plans and decisions
• Monitor progress, manage risks proactively, and ensure transparent reporting to management, controlling and other internal or external stakeholders

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field (TU / FH or equivalent)
• Proven experience managing complex development projects (off-highway, automotive, or embedded)
• Solid project management skills (planning, risk, stakeholder management) PMP / PMI or similar certification is a plus
• Experience with MS Project, Jira, Confluence or similar tools
• Good technical understanding of software and electronics development
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
• Very good communication skills in English

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade ("Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe") and we offer a minimum salary of € 74,500 gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
