Job Description


How does your working day look like...

  • You take overall responsibility for and ensure the smooth operation of the hotel’s entire technical infrastructure, including building systems, operational equipment, safety systems, air-conditioning, energy, and event technology.
  • You lead and develop your three-person technical team, including duty scheduling, conducting employee appraisals, and fostering individual strengths and skills.
  • You are involved in the annual budgeting process and are responsible for planning and implementing maintenance, repair, and investment measures.
  • You maintain close cooperation with our external service providers and maintenance companies. You organize repair and maintenance appointments in good time and work hand in hand with our safety specialist, thereby ensuring a safe environment for colleagues and guests.
  • You ensure that all legal requirements and safety standards are complied with and take care of documentation and inspection records.
  • Together with your technical team, you make sure that all equipment in the hotel is functioning at all times and, if not, that issues are resolved quickly.
  • As a trained technician, you keep an overview when one project follows the next and the heating and Wi-Fi fail at the same time.

Qualifications


Your personality counts more than your CV...

  • You have completed technical training, ideally in the field of building services engineering, and already have several years of professional experience. Preferably, you also bring experience from the hotel industry or a comparable service-oriented environment.
  • You have sound specialist knowledge in the areas of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning technology (HVAC), electrical systems, fire protection, and sanitary technology.
  • As a communicative and open-minded person, you enjoy not only working behind the scenes on technical matters, but also being in contact with our guests.
  • You are IT-savvy and confident in using Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • In line with our sustainability strategy and ESG goals, you actively contribute new ideas.
  • You bring not only your skills, but also your personality.
